Hemlock Elementary School proudly honors Renee Yeasted as its Teacher of the Year.
Renee is the epitome of a lifelong learner. She was also singled out for her dedication to her students, many of whom have made more than a year's progress in learning, with some advancing two years. This success is attributed to Renee's deep instructional expertise, focus on content, and understanding of how students build new knowledge.
She is dedicated to the parents of her young TK students. Renee holds weekly parent meetings to support them in working with their children and foster deep connections with the school community and one another.
Her meetings engage families in the school's activities, providing a positive first school experience for students and families.
Renee’s dedication to Hemlock is also at the forefront of her honor, as she mentored two new teachers this school year.
