WHAT IS TECH CLUB?
The goal of Technology Club is to prepare our students for the world of Technology by participating in age appropriate activities. Computer skills and technologies are taught through a mix of direct instruction, computers, iPads and non-computer activities.
All students learn basic computer skills, typing while emphasizing proper posture, word processing software programs and hardware components. All of our students are also given instruction in basic coding when we participate yearly in the Hour of Code.
GREAT WEBSITES FOR KIDS!
The Technology Club has created a list of websites that are geared for elementary students. We have either used these sites in Technology Club or screened and found them worthy of our recommendation. In addition to this list, check out Great Websites for Kids. If you would like to suggest new sites or report broken links, please email the Tech Club chairs.
